CIS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM 05

The "CIS Scholarship 2024-2025" program is a talent search initiative across Academic, Sports, and Arts fields. The scholarship program is open to students from grade 3 to grade 11 who wish to study at CIS during the academic year 2024-2025.

The scholarship aims to provide opportunities for talented students to learn, develop, and showcase their outstanding abilities at the Canadian International School.

• The scholarship values range from 20% to 90% of the annual tuition fees at CIS (equivalent to 100 - 700 million VND/year). 
• It is available for all students from grade 3 to grade 11.

Scholarship Admission Criteria:

• Achievements in reputable competitions organized at the city level or above.
• Competitions in the three areas of Academics, Sports, and Arts.
• Minimum average GPA of 8.0 or equivalent over the last two academic years.
• Active participation and contribution to community activities.

Scholarship Evaluation Process:

1. Preliminary Round:

• Students submit applications by March 15, 2024. Application includes:
• Application form (as per the template).
• Report cards from the most recent academic year and Semester I of 2023-2024.
• Certificates of achievements.
• Essay on an open topic.
• Teacher recommendation letter (if available).

2. Concentrated Testing Round:

• Students meeting the requirements in the Preliminary Round will be invited to participate in a concentrated testing round.
• The test content includes 4 English language skills.

3. Interview Round:

• Students meeting the requirements in the Concentrated Testing Round will be invited to participate in an interview.
• The scholarship review board will announce the scholarship levels within 10 days.

4. Scholarship Admission Timeline:

• Application submission deadline: Before March 15, 2024.
• Concentrated testing period: Before March 23, 2024.
• Interview period: From March 27 to March 30, 2024.
• Result announcement: April 10, 2024.

Scholarship Regulations:

• The scholarship is valid for one (01) academic year. It will be reviewed and renewed at the end of each academic year.
• Maximum duration of scholarship application: 3 academic years.
• The scholarship does not cover other fees as required by the school, and it is not convertible into cash.
• The scholarship is not cumulative with other promotional programs or scholarships.
• The achieved scholarship is not transferable, giftable, or convertible into cash.
• The school reserves the right to supplement and update the Talent Scholarship policies annually.
